Caregiver respite services
Everyone needs a break. Respite care provides caregivers a temporary rest for caregiving, while the person they care for continues to receive care in a safe environment. Seeking support and maintaining your own health are key to strengthening your role as a caregiver.
Our respite services offer two options for respite care for caregivers and those they care for.
The Gathering (group respite)
The Gathering provides five hours of respite for caregivers and a day of stimulating activities for the person they care for who is experiencing early- to mid-stage memory loss. The program is offered in collaborative partnerships with churches who provide the facilities and host The Gathering. Each program site meets 2-4 times per month. Learn more.
