You can make a difference by making a financial donation to various annual giving opportunities or by participating in special fundraisers.
Lyngblomsten Foundation welcomes donors who provide gifts that provide support to new and existing programs for older adults including outreach and community services, spiritual care and building/renovation projects, to name a few.
No gift is too large or too small. See “Donor Recognition” below for the various giving levels. Gifts given in memory or in honor, as well as gifts given through fundraising events, count toward your annual giving total. Our fundraising year runs from October 1 through September 30.
For more information about annual giving, contact Dale Fagre, Chief Development Officer, at (651) 632-5319 or dfagre@lyngblomsten.org
Remembrance Tree The Lyngblomsten Remembrance Tree is a way to make a lasting commemoration for loved ones. Engraved leaves are available by making a gift or a compilation of remembrance gifts (such as funeral memorials) at the following levels:
Donors and friends of Lyngblomsten can purchase leaves at the above levels. Remembrance gifts help support Lyngblomsten's overall ministry.
For more information about making a gift and to request a Remembrance Fund/leaf order form, please contact Mary Grupa in the Lyngblomsten Foundation office at (651) 632-5324 or mgrupa@lyngblomsten.org.
When you want to give a gift to someone who doesn’t need anything, or you want to honor someone for a special occasion, purchasing a Share Card lets them know you remembered them by giving a financial gift to the Lyngblomsten Foundation in their honor.
For more information about Lyngblomsten Share Cards, please contact Mary Grupa in the Lyngblomsten Foundation office at (651) 632-5324 or mgrupa@lyngblomsten.org.
Every year during November and December, people can purchase a commemorative tag ornament to hang on the Lights for Lyngblomsten Christmas tree. This is a nice way to honor a special person you admire or appreciate. A highlight of the campaign is the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony held in early December.
For more information about Lights for Lyngblomsten, contact Mary Grupa in the Lyngblomsten Foundation office at (651) 632-5324 or mgrupa@lyngblomsten.org.
You can make a difference by establishing a gift to be given in the future. Often called “planned giving,” typical ways to do this include naming Lyngblomsten in your Will, as a beneficiary on an insurance policy, or by establishing a gift annuity or other instrument. People who establish a legacy gift become members of Lyngblomsten’s Heritage Society (see Donor Recognition below).
Donors are recognized for cumulative giving and for making a legacy (planned) gift. The various recognition levels are described below.
Gifts that provide transformational leadership helping us meet annual and long-range project and programs goals requiring more significant resources. Members of this circle receive special recognition at the Annual President's Dinner.
Formerly the Century Club that was originated during our Centennial celebration year, this fund has been appropriately re-named now that Lyngblomsten has moved into a second century of service. Members are recognized at the Annual President's Dinner.
Members of the President’s Club receive a special pin and recognition at the Annual President's Dinner each fall.
Hundreds of our friends commit to an annual gift in support of the overall needs of Lyngblomsten throughout the year.
Membership in the society comes by notifying us that you are either making a planned gift or have made plans for Lyngblomsten to receive a future planned gift by naming Lyngblomsten in your Will, as a beneficiary on an insurance policy, or by establishing a gift annuity or other instrument. The Heritage Society Luncheon is held each year to celebrate current members, remember members who have passed on and recognize new members.
For more information, please contact Dale Fagre at (651) 632-5319 or dfagre@lyngblomsten.org.
Donations given to our special fundraising events count toward your annual giving total.
