AN OVERVIEW

The Lyngblomsten Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1985 to provide ongoing financial support to sustain Lyngblomsten's mission of innovative services and compassionate care for older adults. Funds are raised through individual gifts, special events and sponsorships, memorial or honorary gifts, planned gifts (wills, trusts, estates, annuities), and designated campaigns.

The Lyngblomsten Foundation has an active 18-member Board of Directors that meets every other month. There are also several committees and project teams that meet regularly with staff to carry out annual and long-range plans. The Lyngblomsten Foundation staff consists of the director of development, development associate, and part-time administrative assistant.

The Lyngblomsten Foundation:

Values and cherishes the relationships we have with all of our friends (residents, donors, family members, vendors, sponsors, fellow staff and volunteers).

Believes trust is key. We promise to do our best to give you as much information as possible about needs or gifting opportunities so you can make an informed gift commitment. We promise to work hard to maintain accurate records and provide you with documentation of your gift in a timely manner.

Believes in being authentic. Our staff and volunteers all truly enjoy working with older adults to provide them with exceptional programs and services to enhance their lives. When we invite you to make a gift, our request and our gratitude are authentic.

The Lyngblomsten Foundation fundraising year runs from October 1 to September 30. Annual donor recognition is given for gifts made and recorded between these dates.
