Location

Located just two blocks north of St. Clair and three blocks west of West Seventh on Superior Street, between Duke and Erie streets, the area encompasses three acres.

There are two floor plans to choose from: one-bedroom (670 square feet) and two-bedroom (880 square feet) units.  There is one unit designed for the mobility impaired and one caretaker cottage.

All cottages have attached garages and a separate front entry with a porch facing one of the surrounding streets.  Both on and off-street guest parking is available.

Superior Street Cottages also features an attractive, flowered and accessible courtyard, located in the center of the cottage community.  This area serves as an outdoor meeting place and a restful area for those who enjoy the outdoors.

Rent

Lower monthly rents apply to those who are at or below income guidelines.  Nine units are available at this level.

Tenants pay individually for heat and electric and other services such as housekeeping or home health services.

No application fee is required.

Activities

A spacious community room for planned activities is attached to the caretaker’s cottage and serves as a meeting place for friends, neighbors, and relatives.

Tenants are welcome to participate in Lyngblomsten-sponsored events, including noon dining at the Lyngblomsten Community Center, concerts, extended trips, local outings, walking club, and more.  Many of these events take place on Lyngblomsten’s main campus, located at 1415 Almond Avenue in St. Paul near Como Park.

Pet Policy

Cats are permitted.  An additional deposit will be required, as will full compliance with pet regulations.
