A Timeless Love film screening
Join us for a screening of A Timeless Love. Filmed in 2014 in Zumbrota, MN, this powerful film tells the story of Harvey, a man whose wife Mary has early-onset Alzheimer's disease. The film shows the effects of the disease not only on Mary, but also the entire family and their community. While the film deals honestly and compassionately with the realities of the disease, it focuses mostly on the tireless work of the caregivers.
Josie Di Chiara, Senior Vice President of the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, says about the film: "A Timeless Love is a love story wrapped up in the complexity of a disease that shows no mercy. It's real. It's raw, and yet through all of the trials and tribulations, it provides hope."
This FREE event is open to the entire community. After the film there will be a question-and-answer session with Lori La Bey, CEO and Founder of Alzheimer's Speaks, and Carolyn Klaver, RN, Community Dementia Care Specialist for Lyngblomsten.
To assist with planning, RSVPs are appreciated. Please contact Shelli Beck at (651) 414-5297 or sbeck@lyngblomsten.org by Friday, September 28.
