Lyngblomsten Community Services
For more than 40 years, Lyngblomsten Community Services has been serving older adults in the Twin Cities through a variety of community-based programs.
Lyngblomsten Community Services takes an integrative approach to supporting adults aging well in their communities. It is designed to connect older adults to community services, resources, and opportunities to enhance their quality of life and enrich their life’s journey. Today, these resources and services include:
-
Support for informal family caregivers: memory loss support groups, access to resources, and educational classes, respite opportunities
-
Memory loss enrichment programming: Memory Collective and The Gathering group respite (We have a short waiting list for The Gathering, as of December 2023. Contact us to learn more!)
-
Resources to churches: Parish Nurse Ministry Resource Group, the Care Ministry Network, and presentations on topics related to aging
-
Wellness education: Evidence-based wellness classes (e.g. A Matter of Balance, Living Well with Chronic Conditions, Powerful Tools for Caregivers), and the Healthy Brain workshop.
