Unwrapping Music: What makes music so powerful?

Sep 3rd - 9:00 AM
5-5-1 Club - 1415 Almond Avenue, St. Paul, MN 55108

Explore a different musical genre each week--from Baroque to Bluegrass--covering the history, form, and function that shaped the musical style. Learn how and why music affects us, and how music and society changed each other across ears, cultures, and continents. With live performances by Twin Cities guest artists, students will learn to listen for the elements of music that make it compelling. Teacher:  Andrea Leap
