Community resources for lifelong learning and wellness of body, mind & spirit
Many seniors are able to live independently—and can extend their independence—with the use of a support service or two. Services range from social and learning opportunities through our 5-5-1 Club community center, to practical assistance through Care Team Ministry, to support for caregivers and those living with memory loss through The Gathering, to medical monitoring through Parish Nurse Ministry.
Lyngblomsten’s Home- and Community-Based Services are designed around holistic health, caring for people's bodies, minds, and spirits as they age in their own homes in the communities they know and love, a commitment we’ve kept for over 30 years. Through the generosity of the Lyngblomsten Foundation, these services are priced affordably. We feel a responsibility to be a resource to congregations, bolstering their efforts to minister to and support older adults, and to serving older adults whether or not they live in one of our buildings.
Note that most of the community-based programs operate in partnership with area churches, which means service is accessed through the church and not directly through Lyngblomsten.
