Lyngblomsten Community Services is excited to offer evidence-based wellness classes* for helping older adults of all abilities live active, full lives. These classes provide an opportunity to connect with others while gaining tools that can help you take control of your health and manage it in a way that works best for your life.

- Receiving support from other participants and instructors

Lyngblomsten Community Services' evidence-based wellness classes are part of the Juniper network and are offered in partnership with the Faith Community Nurse Network of the Greater Twin Cities.
A Matter of Balance-Spring 2024 (in-person)
Thursdays, April 4-May 23, 2024, from 10 AM-Noon. Held at Roseville Covenant Church (2865 Hamline Ave. N., Roseville, MN 55113).
This falls prevention program will help you view falls and fear of falling as controllable, set realistic goals for increasing activity, find out about ways to change your environment to reduce fall risks, and learn exercises to increase strength, balance, and flexibility. Living Well with Chronic Conditions

Participants in this six-week class make weekly action plans, share experiences, and help each other solve problems as they carry out their plans. Topics include nutrition, exercise, medication use, pain management, emotions, and communicating with medical providers.
