With the rapidly exploding population of persons over the age of 65 in the United States, your decision to Get Involved is more important than ever. For more than 10 decades, people like you have stepped up and engaged in the mission of Lyngblomsten.

Community Engagement

The quality of life for everyone is improved when the community gets engaged together in a common mission.  That has been a foundational principle since 1906 when Lyngblomsten was started by a small group of women who saw a need for senior care in their community.  We encourage people of all ages to get engaged with Lyngblomsten by individually becoming a donor or volunteer or to engage your church, club, or corporation in socially responsible activities through volunteering as a group at Lyngblomsten. 

Within the realms of volunteerism and philanthropy, you can create your own customized experience.  The options are limitless.  With the increasingly aging population, the need for ever-expanding services to help the elderly maintain their quality of life is also on the rise.

We need you.  Influenced by Christ, we serve the elderly, innovatively adapting programs and services in response to changing needs.  YOU are needed in this important mission.  Together we can help make the lives of seniors rich and full.   Won't you join us?
