Community resources for lifelong learning and wellness of body, mind & spirit
Lyngblomsten is committed to serving older adults through community outreach and its residential services, including long-term skilled nursing care and senior housing. We know, though, that many adults living in our communities can maintain their independence at home when engaged with others and connected with one or two supportive services.
That’s why for more than 40 years, Lyngblomsten has been serving adults ages 50+ in the Twin Cities through a variety of community-based programs. Our Community Services include Arts and Lifelong Learning opportunities, evidence-based wellness classes and resources, social engagement opportunities, and caregiver support services. These services programs are accessed through our life enrichment centers called 2nd Half with Lyngblomsten.
While the COVID-19 pandemic has affected many aspects of our operations, we are committed to providing continued support to older adults living in the community. Through online meetings, email communications, and telephone calls, our dedicated team is here to support you. Lyngblomsten’s Community Services are designed around holistic health, caring for people's bodies, minds, and spirits as they age in their own homes in the communities they know and love.
Through the generosity of the Lyngblomsten Foundation, these services are priced affordably. We feel a responsibility to be a resource to congregations, bolstering their efforts to minister to and support older adults, and to serving older adults whether or not they live in one of our buildings.
