When participants cancel their class registration, they will receive a refund if they do so before the registration deadline or, if there is no registration deadline, before the class begins. COVID-19 Safety Protocols for In-Person Programs
Updated March 1, 2022
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Lyngblomsten Community Services is taking precautions to protect the health and safety of its program participants. As we begin offering more in-person programs (e.g., wellness classes, enrichment opportunities), we have instituted safety protocols that are designed to mitigate the potential introduction and spread of the virus among participants. These protocols are based on recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH), and are in accord with protocols currently in place for visitors to the Lyngblomsten campus.
All participants attending an in-person program on the Lyngblomsten campus will be screened for symptoms of COVID-19. Screening consists of (1) having one’s temperature taken and (2) completing a questionnaire that assesses one’s current symptoms and potential exposure to the virus. While on campus, all participants are strongly encouraged to wear a facemask (surgical facemasks are available at reception when checking in) and abide by a core set of infection control guidelines. (For a list of these guidelines, visit www.lyngblomsten.org/COVIDPolicies and select the dropdown, “General Visitation Guidelines.”)
Additional requirements may be in place at other locations where Lyngblomsten Community Services is offering programs; these requirements will be included in the class description when registering.
All participants must register in advance to attend a program. No walk-in registrations are being accepted at this time.
