Memory care
The Lyngblomsten Care Center provides dignified, compassionate long-term care for those living with memory loss and/or who need assistance with activities of daily living. Residents who are not at risk of wandering live in various neighborhoods (small grouping of resident rooms) throughout the care center.
All residents receive care for the human spirit as well as physical health. Our person-centered model of care means that residents can make as many of their own choices and decisions as possible, which allows us to honor their personal preferences. Residents, caregivers, family members, and volunteers grow strong ties through ongoing relationships.
Secured memory care
The Lyngblomsten Care Center offers a specialized, secured neighborhood (a small grouping of resident rooms with a total of 22 beds) to ensure the safety of those living with Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias who are at risk of wandering and elopement or who could benefit from specialized programming. Staff who work in these neighborhoods feel especially called to serve and work with residents who are living with memory impairments.
